The Mahantas of Nimbark clan established this unusually green coloured, huge temple with a 9-pinnacled orange Rasmancha. While the main temple is built in the Dalan type (flat roof) the pinnacles on the roof are built in the Khilan type. A large number of Narayan Shilas (stones that are regarded as a symbol of Lord Vishnu) are present inside the sanctum, along with the deities. This temple is more than 250 years old.
