Mankameshwar temple is located along the banks of river Yamuna. Situated in close proximity to Saraswati Ghat, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. According to the Hindu calendar, in Sawan month, Mondays are considered auspicious. Therefore, most of the devotees pay visit to the temple during this time only. This temple lies under the jurisdiction of Jagath Guru Shankaracharya. Located on Mankameshwar ghat near Saraswati ghat on the bank of River Yamuna at Yamuna Bank road, at a distance of about 8 kms from Allahabad railway station, Allahabad, U.P.
