Overview : Sri Mokaneeswarar temple is a Shiva temple located in Kulayagoundanpudur village, of Coimbatore district, in Tamil Nadu, South India.The main God worshipped in this temple is Mokaneeswarar (God Shiva). There is no holy tree for this temple. Krupa Theertham is the holy water of this temple. Kameeyam is the said to be the agamam or pooja of this temple. This temple is considered to be 500 to 1000 years old. It is considered holy to take bath or a dip in the tank during the Mahamagam festival. It is a prominent celebration praised once in 12 years as the Kumbh Mela in South.
