The Naganathar Temple is located in Kilperumpallam and is dedicated to the God Kethu, one of the Navagrahas. The temple is known as the Kethu Navagrahasthalam and is located in keezperpallam in Tiruvenkaadu. This place is also called Vanagiri. Kethu prayed to Naaganaadhaswami and was blessed and washed of his sins by God Shiva. It is rare to find Kethu with his head. At this sthala, he can be seen with a serpent head and human body worshipping Naaganaadhaswami with his folded hands held high. There are two Sun idols and a Saturn idol in the temple. Pooja is performed to one idol from January to July and the other from August to December. Poojas are performed to planet Kethu at Rahukalas and Yemakanda Kala times.

Meaning -According to this sloka, the heavenly maya of God is very complicated, but those who worship God will be able to overcome it.
