The octagonal shaped sabhamandap is supported by 16 pillars, out of which 8 are embedded in 8 corners. The idol of Nandi in the center of the hall is made of flint stone. A small flight of stairs leads to the circular gabhara where the Mahadev ling has a brass facial plaque and is sheltered by a 5-hooded cobra, also made of brass. On a cement canopy above the entrance door, idols of Sankar with a trishul in hand flanked by Ganapati and Parvati to his right and left respectively are placed.
