Overview : Sri Nara Devi Temple of Goddess Kali is located in Kathmandu, Nepal. The goddess is also known as Seto Kali i.e., White Kali ( Goddess Kali is generally believed to be dark). The temple is built by Newar community and considered as their family deity. Built in pagoda style this temple has three storeys. The locals believe that the goddess protects them and their valley out of danger and call her Ajima meaning mother. Dance performances are organised every 12 years for worshipping the goddess.
