The temple has entrances on the western, eastern and northern sides, where a decaying drum chamber surmounts the northern entrance. A dark, narrow flight of stairs leads down to a four-pillared mandap. Two jharokhas on the eastern and western sides are present in the cellar and holds an idol of Jagadamba and hence it is called the Ambabai mandap. A 16 handed Narasimha idol, carved out of a single stone, is also present. The Dasavatars are carved around the prabhaval.
