A small, stone temple, with a shrine and a porch, the Nilkanteshwar Mahadev temple is situated in Nashik. The shrine of this temple is very similar to the shrine of the ruined Someshwar temple at Gangapur, situated 9 kms west of Nashik. The linga has a high case or salunkha and is placed in the 12 sq ft shrine and a Nandi facing the linga is placed on the porch.
