Overview
The sita theertham is arranged close to the Laksmana theertha. The theertham is situated on Pamban Road. It is trusted that Sita devi has introduced and worshiped a shiva linga independently to vanish her sins. The noteworthiness of Seetha Theertham is the place Dharmarajan disposed of his sin of uttering a lie. Indra relieved himself of Brahmahatthi Dosha by washing up in this Holy Tank.
