Shri Trishakti Peetam is a highly revered temple located at Bhaskararaopet of Vijayawada in Krishna District. Built in 1947, this temple is dedicated to three deities, Mahalakshmi, Kali and Saraswati. Separate shrines have been built for the deities. Folklore has it that this temple had remained closed for nearly 15 years. A devotee named Taraka Venkateswarulu opened the doors after many years and was astonished to see that the lamp inside the shrine was kept burning. After this incident, the temple was renovated and the idols of Ganapati, Mrityunjaya and Navagraha were installed. Today, a large number of devotees assemble here to offer their worship. Vijayawada Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead and the nearest airport is Vijayawada Airport.
