Maharaja Ranjit Singh constructed this temple in the latter half of the 18th century in front of the Daksha Prajapati temple. One of the oldest temples of Lord Shiva in Kankhal, this temple has beautiful carvings that adorn its walls. On the fifth month of the Hindu calendar, a large number of devotees throng this temple.
