Overview : Sri Ramar Temple of God Rama is located in Changi Village on the East coast of Singapore. Ram Naidu, who was with British Indian Army found a shrine at the bottom of a tree which was worshipped by the locals. He took maintenance of the shrine and secured the site for the temple from the British during World War II and built a temple around it. The Loyang Avenue Redevelopment Project almost moved the temple out of its premises, but the regency member of parliament Teo Chong Tee and local supporters stalled the plans and won the temple premises.
