Overview
Sri Annamaleswarar Temple is an old Shiva temple situated in Neduvarambakkam close to Pancheshti, somewhat in a decrepit condition yet under veneration. This sanctuary is called Vada Thiruvannamalai and the Primary God here is Shiva. The fundamental divinity is Annamalai Eswarar and the goddess Abithakusalaambal. In this place, Dakshan supplicated shiva as Guru to get the help from Shiva and consequently Guru is celebrated here.
