The Sri Mahadeva Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located in Alapuzha, Kerala. The presiding deity is Shiva. Other deities include Ganapathy, Subramaniyan, Ayyappan, Yakshi, Nagaraja and Nagayakshi. The Swayambu Shiva is Kirtamurthy here. The darshan is towards the east. Pattanakkad is located in Cherthala Taluk of Alappuzha, Kerala. The Mahadeva temple is one of the 108 temples which is believed to have been built by the mighty warrior Parshuram. There is also a beautiful tourist beach Andhakaranazhy nearby the town about 4 kilometres from Poonamveli. Temple is built in typical Kerala Style Architecture. The swayambu Shiva is Kirtamurthy here.
