The Sri Pandava Dootha is located in Kanchipuram and is dedicated to God Pandava Dhootha Perumal. During his avatar, God Krishna went to Duryodhana as the messenger of Pandavas to get at least five houses for them. Krishna was cited as the unconquerable strength of the Pandavas. Meanwhile Duryodhana planned to disgrace and kill Krishna during his visit. As Paramathma was aware of everything, he ended up in giving a Viswaroopa Darshanam to Duryodhana. After many years of the end of the Kurukshetra war, king Janamejaya came to Sage Vaisampayana to listen to the glory of the Mahabharata and God Krishna. The king questioned the saint to suggest him a method to have the God's Viswaroopa avatar as he sat on the pit made by Duryodhana. As advised by the sage, Janamejaya took a dip in to the sacred spring and performed deeds here. God rewarded the king with his darshan at last.
