The Sri Pattabhiramar Temple is located in Vilacheri and is dedicated to God Rama. The God offers devotees His Coronation image in all grandeur. Vilacheri is in the form of a triangle and over 60 renowned scholars have said to live in this place. Besides this temple there are many other temples for God Vinayaka, God Kasi Viswanatha - Visalakshi, Mamundi Iyyan, Karuppusamy, Azhagu Nachiar, Dakshinamurthi, Iyyanar with Poorana Pushkal and Adhi Sivan at this place. Legend goes that God Rama saved Sita from Ravana's clutches after a fierce battle and had to return to Ayodhya through Danushkodi. The Coronation ceremony of God Rama was conducted in Ayodhya with much pomp and ceremony and not all could witness this sight. This temple offers this Darshan with Mother Sita and Lakshman on the left and right side of God just like it happened on the day of Coronation. Sri Anjaneya and Garuda appear as Dwarapalakas.
