The Sri Srinivasaperumal temple is located in Malaikotai Adivaram and is dedicated to God Ramanuja. The prime deity of the temple is placed under a Lotus shaped Ceiling called the Padma Vimanam. Damodhara Vinayaka, Navaneethakrishna and the navagraha shrines are found in the Prakara or inner corridor. Sri Vaishnava Acharyas Nammazhwar, Thirumangai Azhwar, Sri Ramanuja graces the devotees as procession deities. The temples of Kottai Mariamman and Abirami are nearby. A few devotees, in order to seek the God's darshan, organized a yagna. This was interrupted by demons and upon the devotees’ plea, the God destroyed the demons. He was very furious and Mother Mahalakshmi was invoked to pacify the God. Both of them later stayed here. A temple was later built for God Srinivasa with Sridevi and Bhoodevi as his consorts.
