- Tell us about this temple
The temple was constructed by Sursari state but it has been acquired by Akhil Bhartiya Jai Guru Sampraday Trust (Kolkata) through an auction and now it is managed by them. A new marble temple called Ram Janaki temple has replaced the older one. The temple has five shikhars, shining brass wares adorning the top which look very attractive even from a distance. The temple houses idols of Ram, Laxman & Sita in its sanctum. Idols of Hanuman, Radha Krishna & Swami Sita Ramdas Omkarnath are also installed in this magnificent temple. Sita Ramdas Omkarnath Vedic Sansthan (Institute) has been established to facilitate Vedic studies & their propagation. One Ayurvedic hospital has been running here since 2004.
