Doddikatta is a temple village near Bajpe and is considered a sacred shrine for Hindus. The main deity at the temple is Swambhoolingeshwara or Lord Shiva himself. The kshetra is unique for housing 32 Kuladevatas and the ever-growing Shiva Linga which is as it has grown since years with no carving or sculpting.
