The Thiruvara Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located in Kerala. The temple is approached with prayers for knowledge. The temple in Kizhakkencherry village is very ancient and is believed to be more than thousand years old. The important vazhipaats are elaneer dhaara and pushpaanjali. This temple is one of the very old Shiva temples in India. Niramala Vilakku Utsavam is Celeberating there. The festivity starts from the 20th of December with Maha Bagavatha saptaha and end with Niramals.
