The Thothadri Nathan Temple is located in Nanguneri and is dedicated to God Thothadri Nathan. After God Vishnu killed the demons Madhu Kaidaba, a terrible odour enveloped the earth, polluting it. Bhoomadevi (Mother Earth) came to this spot to be cleansed of the pollutions. The God appeared before Bhoomadevi and cleansed her of the odour. The vimana in this temple is of the Nandavardana design. God Brahma, Indira, king of Sindhu, Garuda Baghwan, Urvasi, Thilothama were fortunate enough to have a darshan of the God in the temple.
