- Tell us about this temple
This shrine was renovated in the year 1945. 14 concrete columns support the spacious, terraced sabhamandap and there are two small rooms on either side of the shrine. Two niches, where the one on the left holds a 4-armed idol of Lord Vishnu and the one on the right holds an idol of Ganapati, flank the entrance door of the shrine. The shrine can be reached by climbing down 3 steps and it has the ling of Tungareshwar. The ling is coiled and shaded by a brass cobra and there is a well-carved Parvati idol beyond the ling. The Nandi, alongwith a pair of Dattatreya's footprints, is placed on a mandap. A small room with an idol of Kalbhairav and an idol of Hanuman is present behind the shrine. A kund that has been constructed for a perennial spring is present behind the shrine.
