Vanadurga Temple is situated in Denthadka Village in Bantwal Taluk of Dakshina Kannada area. The sanctuary is devoted to Goddess Vanadurga. Vanadurga is one of the intense gods of Coastal Karnataka and the sanctuary pulls in substantial number of devotees from all spots of Karnataka. In the year 2001, the Vanadurga sanctuary was found supernaturally in the close-by woodland in totally demolished condition. Later, the Vanadurga Temple was revamped and recently built by under the perfect direction of His Holiness Sri Raghaveshwara Bharati Swamiji of Ramachandrapura Mutt, Hosanagara. After remodel, Brahmakalashotsava was done in Jan 2005. The sanctuary premises likewise houses hallowed places devoted to Lord Ganapathi and Shastara. There is an effective Nagasannidhi close sanctuary.
