About Deity
The idol of the deity is made of a single stone and faces the East direction. The temple is built in such a way that on the day of Ugadi every year, the sun’s rays fall directly on Lord Venkateshwara’s crown. The temple complex consists of the garbhagriha, a pond and a Garuda pillar. The Banyan tree which lies within the temple complex, is the Ashwath Vruksha and is about 300 years old. The family of Katti has been worshipping Lord Venkateshwara since the last 200 years. The festival of Vijayadashmi is celebrated with great fervor and zeal. The Shami Vruksha is worshipped every evening and devotees who pray with pure devotion, are blessed with whatever they desire.
About The Temple
