Overview
Vilwamangalam Shri Krishna Swamy Temple is a beautiful shrine, located near East Fort, at Kottakkakam, in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala. This temple enshrines Lord Krishna as the main deity. Locals believe that this place is the penance land of a great Brahmin saint called Vilwamangalam Swamiyar. He was an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna and attained Samadhi at the place where the sanctum sanctorum is situated.
