- Tell us about this temple
The temple has two small shrines that have a set of 11 and half lingas that were carved out of a single block of stone. It is believed that while the linga was being brought up to the temple, it disappeared because of the unholy touch of an ass. The local village people point out the spot where the ass touched the linga. In addition to the lingas, the temple also has idols of Sri Krishna, Ganapati and a Rishi. There are 3 identical, yet unequally sized shrines in the courtyard. A linga, sheltered by a five-hooded brass cobra is placed in the first shrine. The second shrine has an idol of Mohini, one of Vishnu's incarnations. The idols of Vitthal, his consort Rakhumai and Rai occupy the third shrine. Close to these shrines is an idol of Garuda. An idol of Hanuman is present in a small shrine opposite these 3 shrines.
