gayantham-gayathri
traya-three parts
thuthi-chanted three times aday
Sorry for a delayed reply.I just wanted to tell that the gayathri mantra is the mother of all mantras. It is powerful of all,gayantham+traya+thuthi-which means having three parts. As by rig veda, it says that the supreme one who pervades bho, bhuuvah and suva (which is the 2nd part),will throw light on me, and enlighten me to know the all pervasive entity (3rd part).OM is the 1st part. One who meditate this mantra daily will succeed in his life.No other slokas or mantra are needed for attaining bliss.
