6 feasible remedies for sani dosham and seven and half sani

Hanuman Chalisa

It is believed that reciting the Hanuman chalisa 3 times per day for 90 days relieves people of Sani Dosham. Devotees can read the 40 verses in Sanskrit or recite the translated version of Hanuman chalisa. On the 90th day after the successful completion of the task vada mala is offered to Lord Hanuman.

The Thirunarayur temple is situated 6 Kms from Kumbakonam. In this shrine Lord Shani is seen to bless his devotees along with his wife and 2 children. It is believed that people who perform archana to Lord Sani during their sade sati/ seven and half sani phase are relieved of trouble and lead a happy life. Along with the archana they also donate clothes to few physically challenged needy people.

The Moolavar of this temple is Lord Ganesha, the specialty of this temple is that the idol of the moolavar is half Ganesha and half Hanuman. Many people who were affected by Sani dasha have claimed to have benefited by praying at this temple.

In this Kuchanur Sani Temple temple Lord Sani is seen as a suyambhu moorthi,(self-manifested). Many devotees claim that seven and half year of Sani vanishes off in seven and half seconds on visiting this temple. Devotees also buy a crow doll and present it at the peetham of the temple to be relieved of Sani dasa. After the completion of Sani worship people donate food to the needy. This temple is situated in the Theni – Kambam route.

Namakkal Anjeneyar Temple

This temple is one of the oldest temples in this region. The unique feature of this temple is that it doesn’t have a roof above the deity. It is said that the roof collapsed whenever people tried to raised one. Thereafter, people took it to be the wish of Lord Hanuman and never put up a roof . To the point now, offering Vetrilai malai (betel leaf garland) to Lord Hanuman clears the sani Dosham. This temple is situated in about 2 kms from the Namakkal bus stand.
