Tirupati Thiru kudai procession to reach Tirupati tomorrow (26-Sep-17)

Every year as a custom 11 beautiful umbrellas are taken on a procession (by walk) from Kesava Perumal temple Sowcarpet to Tirupathi devastanam, Tirupati. This year the procession was initiated by Shri R.R Gopal Ji. It will reach Tirupathi on 26-Sep-2017.

It is believed that prosperity, wealth and health prevail where ever the umbrella goes. Two of these umbrellas are used during the Tirupathi Brahmotsavam.
